In 2004 Robert was introduced to Legacy Family Tree program by one of our speakers at the general TVGS monthly meeting. He has been using Legacy ever since. His research in genealogy has proven his father’s ancestors back to the late 1400’s in Sweden and his mother’s family back to the Mayflower in 1620 in Plymouth, MA. and to Jamestown, VA. in 1609.

He has studied the Legacy program in depth and is willing to be of help to anyone that wishes to improve there computer data storage for their family lines using the Legacy program.

When doing family research, Legacy is a great genealogy program used to keep information available at your fingertips. There are several programs available for genealogists. Legacy being one of the best and most user friendly.

The program is available as a free download from LegacyFamilyTree.com and for a nominal fee can be upgraded to a full genealogy program. Many people start with the free version of Legacy. They can continue to use it or upgrade to the Deluxe Version later without loosing any data.

Legacy 6.0 includes all standard genealogical reports, as well as calendars, timelines, questionnaires, research logs, a multitude of blank forms and a way to research the complete internet! It keeps the family information tied together and lets one easily link family groups. Legacy 7.0 is soon to come on the market and I understand that anyone purchasing the Deluxe Version of 6.0, now will be upgraded to 7.0 for free.

Bob has purchased 8 training CDs from Legacy that are very good. He is willing to help  anyone that wishes to learn more about the Legacy program. Please contact him by email or phone (951) 302-6055 and he can arrange a class for 1 to 5 persons.
