Genealogy Collection
TVGS Books
Since it’s inception in 1998, TVGS has worked to build the genealogy book collection at the local library. Through society purchases, donations from members and a large donation from the Immigrant Library we have added to the collection started from purchases by the Riverside County Library System and donations from library patrons. The collection was moved from the Temecula branch of the County Library System to the Temecula Public Library in 2006. A large purchase of books by the City of Temecula in 2007 greatly enhanced the Genealogy Book Collection. TVGS continues to purchase books, periodicals and CDs for the Genealogy Collection and our members have been very generous in donating these same items from their personal collections.

All Selector:
ALL - This selection will list the first page of 100 TVGS Book titles. The following pages are selected from the bottom of the page.
Country Selectors:
Austria, Britain, Canada, Denmark, England, Europe, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Scotland, Sweden, USA - These are the list of countries that have books associated with them.
State Selectors:
Alabama, Arkansas, California, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, New England, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin - These are the list of states that have books associated with them.
Type Selectors:
Census, Court, Ethnic, Family Histories, General, Immigration, Juvenile, Military, National Archives, Religions - These are the book types that have books associated with them.
TVGS CDs
The Temecula Valley Genealogical Society Compact Disk (CD) collection is located in the Genealogy Room of the Temecula Public Library. These CDs are available to TVGS members and non-members using the GEN 01 computer in the Genealogy Room. You can reserve time on the computer by using the Library Reservation System on your home computer. Printouts of information from the CDs are available at the current library price on the printer located near the Genealogy Section. It is recommended that you copy your information to a memory stick and do your printout at home where you can format your output.

All Selector:
ALL - This selection will display a page listing of the first 100 CD titles. An additional page will show the remaining CD titles and it is selected from the bottom of the page.
Category Selectors:
Catalog, Census Indexes, Census Records, Family Histories, Genealogy Records, Maps and Gazetteers, Marriage Indexes, Military Records, Passenger and Immigration Lists, Periodical Sources, Vital Records - These are the CD Categories that have CDs associated with them.
